Job Description
IT Allrounder managing and supporting IT systems for clients in Germany with a focus on servers and user assistance. Requires technical expertise in hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to our clients for all matters related to the IT systems we operate
- Install, operate and maintain server systems, including relevant documentation
- Implement adjustments to operating systems and application software
- Analyze and resolve hardware and software incidents in direct contact with users (1st and 2nd level support)
- Administer virtual Windows servers and the VMware platform, among other systems
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems and hardware, e.g., servers, storage, backup, switches, routers
- Preferable: experience in project work and working in an IT systems integrator / system house
- Service-oriented, team player, independent, structured and proactive working style
- Driver’s license class B
- Fluent German and good English skills
