Job Description

Software Upgrade Operations Field Engineer at Motorola Solutions upgrading software for Call Handling products. Collaborating with customers and R&D while ensuring system integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Call Handling customer base remains at current release levels by remotely upgrading software at customer sites.
  • Work with customers to schedule and execute software upgrades.
  • Collaborate with R&D to develop and execute upgrade processes for Call Handling products.
  • Report process and product issues discovered in the field and assist other levels of support with investigations and resolutions.
  • Develop, design, evaluate, and modify systems consistent with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Support system architecture and ensure its integrity.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma, Bachelor's degree in IT, or Engineering required.
  • 4 years of experience working in a IT, or Engineering environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
