Job Description
IEP Writer developing compliant Individualized Education Programs for students in a virtual school. Collaborating with families and educators to ensure appropriate educational services and accommodations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Communicate with parents and related service staff
- Develop compliant IEP’s and progress reports
- Facilitate and lead collaborative special education meetings
- Collect data and work samples to monitor student progress
- Maintain communication with parents/learning coaches
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license
- Ability to clear required background check
- Experience in special education
- Knowledge of IDEA regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
