Job Description

Specialist role at Grupo Boticário focusing on strategy and governance for retail channels. Involved in analytical consulting and project implementation for business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Problem Structuring (Problem Solving): Apply problem-solving frameworks to break complex channel challenges into clear, actionable workstreams.
  • Full Ownership of Initiatives: Lead the full cycle of new strategic projects, from diagnosis and business case modeling to pilot design and initial governance.
  • Data Interpretation and Insights: Act as a translator between complex data and business decisions, ensuring clarity on risks and opportunities and rigor in the return assumptions and P&L for each initiative.
  • Storytelling and Executive Presentation: Synthesize dense analyses into executive presentations with clear, persuasive narratives, facilitating decision-making for Executive Directors.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Orchestrate alignment across areas to ensure the designed strategy is operationally viable.
  • Data-driven Governance: Define and track success metrics for initiatives so that strategy is connected to execution.
  • Initial scope includes: store segmentation strategy (how to capture value through differentiation of elements such as layout, assortment, customer service and services in each store segment), and expansion via new store formats.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate studies preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • Background: Previous experience preferably in Strategy Consulting or in Strategic Planning/New Business areas at large companies.
  • Analytical Toolkit: Proficiency in problem-structuring techniques (hypothesis trees, MECE), financial modeling, and executive storytelling.
  • Solution-oriented Mindset: Ability to balance intellectual rigor with the pragmatism needed to deliver projects in a dynamic retail environment.
  • Influence and Stakeholder Management: Ability to operate across different organizational levels, building bridges between strategic thinking and execution.
  • Advantage: Knowledge of SQL and experience handling and structuring large volumes of data (preferably Google BigQuery).
