Job Description

Staff Engineer designing and supporting Workday integrations for Nagarro, a digital product engineering company. Developing EIB, Studio, connector, reporting, security, and HCM solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday technical solutions and integration designs
  • Design, develop, enhance, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations with internal and external systems
  • Develop and support integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, Benefit Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation
  • Configure and support Workday Business Processes based on business and technical requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain Workday Reports and BIRT reports
  • Provide ongoing production support and troubleshoot existing functional and integration issues
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Perform root-cause analysis and resolve integration, reporting, and configuration issues within agreed timelines
  • Support mass data uploads, user template processing, and outbound integration requirements
  • Upload and maintain new Workday content, including questionnaires, onboarding materials, and related configurations
  • Work with Workday security profiles and ensure appropriate security configurations are maintained
  • Support integrations and functional areas across Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Applicant Tracking, Employee Management, and Learning Management as required
  • Follow ITSM processes for incident, problem, and change management
  • Participate in testing, validation, deployment, and post-production support activities
  • Work effectively with global teams and provide required support during US business hours

Requirements:

  • Total experience 6+ years
  • Strong technical expertise in Workday integrations, including development, enhancement, and production support
  • Hands-on experience with EIBs, including user template fill-in, mass uploads, and outbound integrations
  • Experience with Core Connectors, Benefit Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Business Process configuration
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Reports and BIRT development
  • Knowledge of Workday Security and security profiles
  • Experience supporting existing Workday functional and integration solutions
  • Ability to upload and manage new Workday content, including questionnaires, onboarding content, and related materials
  • Knowledge of Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Applicant Tracking System, Recruiting, Employee Management System, and Learning Management System is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, partners, and internal IT teams
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
  • Ability to work across multiple integration requirements and support different integration patterns
  • Ability to work during US overlap hours (12 PM – 9 PM IST)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Workday certification is preferred
