Job Description
Structural Engineer performing design tasks on building systems for remote assignment. Collaborating with teams while maintaining communication on project development from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Perform calculations of structural systems (hand calculations, computer aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling analysis (STAAD Pro))
- Assist in the creation of contract drawings via drawing input to structural designers
- Maintain effective communication with department members, higher management and clients
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- A Professional Engineer License (PE)
- 4+ years experience in engineering design of building structural systems
- Advanced proficiency in STAAD Pro
- A solid working knowledge of building and structural codes
- Working knowledge of Revit
