Job Description
Civil/Structural Engineer responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems in utility and commercial projects. Preparing detailed engineering drawings and coordinating with team members for project success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform civil and structural engineering analysis and design for utility, pipeline, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, technical reports, design packages, and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Design structural systems and components using reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, and wood.
- Review vendor drawings, equipment data, shop drawings, material submittals, requests for information, change requests, and contractor proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum of six years of civil and structural engineering experience.
- California Professional Engineer license is required.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis reinforced concrete design, structural steel design, foundation design, and seismic design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Experience with Civil 3D and Revit is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical accuracy, constructability, and project requirements.
