Job Description
System Engineer optimizing existing End of Period processes and supporting projects for major Banking and Healthcare clients in Switzerland. Responsible for automated processing design and performance optimization.
Responsibilities:
- You will optimize existing End of Period (EOP) processes and support projects for our major Banking and Healthcare clients, from early strategy phase through to production rollout
- Responsible for the design and development of automated Avaloq EOP (End of Period) processes for Avaloq banks and in the healthcare sector
- Analyze and optimize the performance of batch processes
- Automate business processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Avaloq Batch Engineering with Automic / UC4 (workflow automation, scheduling, scripting)
- Strong knowledge of the Avaloq banking system (batch configuration, parameter control, ACP)
- Basic SQL / Oracle queries, performance analysis and data validation
- Linux / Unix log analysis, process monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience in engineering, testing, deployment and operation of production-critical systems
- Fluent German; English is an advantage
- Confident in incident, problem and change management (ITIL is a plus)
- Structured, analytical working style and strong ownership for EOP/EOY processes
- Strong communicator, team-oriented and comfortable interacting with clients and partners
