Job Description

Systems Analyst involved in building a new digital lending ecosystem for agricultural finance. Collaborating with teams to ensure technology solutions meet customer needs and align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • The Systems Analyst - Reimagine is responsible for helping build and evolve a new "greenfield" digital lending ecosystem.
  • Operating at the intersection of systems design, data security, and emerging technology, this role ensures that AAC’s proprietary land intelligence and new digital lending platform is built to engage with customers.
  • This role will be part of a new team that seeks to leverage the best qualities of a small agile startup with the presence and stability of a successful market leader.
  • Reporting to the Head of Technology - Reimagine, The Systems Analyst - Reimagine will be responsible for helping build and scale the technology behind our next-generation agricultural lending platform.
  • They will work closely with business and technical teams to align technology with organizational goals.
  • Core responsibilities include integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to automate underwriting and operations, implementing cloud-native infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree, with emphasis on Computer Science, Information Systems; or equivalent
  • At least five years of related experience with demonstrated proficiency in gathering functional and non-functional specifications, preparing design documentation, configuring applications and system support
  • Intermediate knowledge of typical programming languages is desirable
  • Intermediate knowledge of System Analysis roles, responsibilities and activities and System Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Intermediate knowledge of and demonstrated skills in use of word processing and data analysis software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Access is required;
  • Thorough knowledge of presentation software such as MS PowerPoint and Visio required
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts and proficiency with MS SQL and Oracle databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including verbal, written skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management processes.
  • Intermediate knowledge industry best practices in the areas of data integrity controls, testing and release management.
