Job Description
Epic Certified ODBA Systems Engineer developing and maintaining systems for health care innovation nonprofit. Ensuring effective integration and performance of technologies while providing mentorship and collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot system-related technologies
- Ensure seamless operation and integration of various systems
- Monitor system performance and address potential challenges
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on system configurations
- Lead or participate in complex customer and internal projects
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and problem prevention
- Document and standardize system procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for technical issues
- Support OCHIN’s overall IT knowledge repository
Requirements:
- Epic ODBA Certification is required
- Minimum of 2 years of Linux experience required; more than 4 years of experience preferred
- Experience in implementation and administration of infrastructure services like Linux, IIS, DNS, DHCP, GPO and CIFS preferred
- Experience with cloud hosted services such as AWS and Azure
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Xenserver preferred
- Minimum of 3 years Azure experience required
- 4+ years AWS experience of cloud-hosted service preferred
- Familiarity with SolarWinds Orion monitoring platform is a plus
- Candidates must complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment prior to team interview.
