Job Description
Tax Senior Manager overseeing tax planning, compliance, and client relationships for high-net-worth individuals at EisnerAmper. Leading teams, complex return reviews, profitability, and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team, foster client relationships, and collaborate with Partners
- Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families
- Ensure timely and accurate federal, state, and local tax return delivery
- Review complex tax returns for technical accuracy and documentation
- Serve as a primary client contact and support client meetings and presentations
- Monitor engagement budgets, realization, utilization, margin risks, scope creep, and profitability
- Coach, train, and provide feedback to staff
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Leverage tax technology, data tools, and process improvements
- Participate in business development, proposals, and client relationship expansion
- Stay current on tax law changes and collaborate across the firm
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field required
- 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals
- 8+ years of tax compliance experience, specializing in complex technical individual and business returns
- Recent public accounting experience
- CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required
- Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software preferred
- Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business preferred
