Job Description
Senior Technical Architect advising Salesforce’s largest customers on enterprise CRM and platform solutions. Leading architecture, integration, security, and strategic consulting initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert to large, complex enterprise customers
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients
- Lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice
- Contribute to the community’s knowledge base and expertise
- Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies
- Teach complex concepts and provide creative, prescriptive thinking
- Identify and proactively manage risk areas through complete resolution
- Manage customer expectations and negotiate complex solutions with customers and third-party partners
- Review and correct project or program direction, approach, and key artifacts
- Keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable
- Work with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions
- Contribute to program vision and advise on project strategies involving enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform
- Mentor and develop technical talent
Requirements:
- 8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience
- 4+ years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects
- Strong application design skills
- Strong data, integration, and security architecture skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to present and defend a point of view to varied audiences
- Ability to rapidly learn and use new concepts, business models, and technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop audience-appropriate materials
- Ability to communicate with people in diverse roles
- Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes through technology and integration
- Strong experience with integration concepts, designs, and patterns
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is preferred; equivalent demonstrable work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
- Ability to convey and convince customers of best practices
- Application design and development background
- Travel may be required depending on client requirements
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications is preferred
- Experience with Consumer Goods Cloud, Consumer Goods Retail Execution / Trade Promotion Management, and the Consumer Goods industry is a plus
- Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Agentforce for Developers
- Understanding of AI-powered development tools’ strengths and limitations
- Experience leading a technical team or workstream
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with C-level executives and senior technology leaders
- Experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform is a strong plus
