Job Description

Technical Project Manager at Instructure serving customers with SaaS project management and technical consultation responsibilities. Ensure efficient project delivery while providing expert guidance on system integrations and technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements, define roles and responsibilities, develop project charters, schedules, communication plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee project delivery, manage stakeholder expectations, allocate resources, coordinate third parties, and control scope, schedule, and cost changes.
  • Track performance against time and budget, report progress to internal and external stakeholders, and maintain project documentation.
  • Obtain client sign-off, finalize documentation, and lead post-project retrospectives for process improvement.
  • Implement and configure technical integrations for SaaS platforms — including SSO, APIs, data systems (HRIS, SIS, etc.), user roles, and permissions.
  • Advise clients on content migration, LTI app setup, and customization using JavaScript or CSS.
  • Design solutions to enhance AI-driven efficiencies, maintain technical documentation, and help clients leverage APIs effectively.
  • Support customers with technical planning and configuration, and participate in internal projects driving team improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience designing and documenting SaaS integrations and solutions.
  • Familiarity with identity provider systems and API integration.
  • Proficiency with online collaboration tools (Google Suite, web conferencing).
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks based on timeline and business impact.
  • Programming knowledge (any language) would be highly advantageous.
