Job Description
Technician Helper supporting IAG’s inspection, assessment, and maintenance services for energy and industrial clients. Assisting with equipment setup, testing procedures, QA/QC, and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the technician with inspections, including setup and equipment
- Follow approved testing procedures under guidance or supervision from a certified inspector
- Perform QA/QC review functions on deliverables and ensure reporting quality standards are met
- Follow all safety protocols, including visual inspection and area surveillance
- Learn from written procedures and verbal instruction
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office platform
- Ability to adapt to and learn Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and other Microsoft Office suite applications
- Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and qualify for coverage under the company insurance program
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to use computers and cloud-based data management and reporting systems
- Strong verbal and written customer service communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision in a procedure-driven environment
- Confined Space Entry Training may be required
- Willingness and ability to travel on short notice and for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehicles to support inspection needs
