Job Description
Therapeutic Sales Specialist launching BridgeBio Pharma’s rare-disease medicine, Acoramidis. Managing a Dallas, East Texas, and Shreveport territory through clinical selling and hospital formulary strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute product launches with sustained excellence as a patient champion
- Meet and/or exceed sales goals in the assigned territory by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan
- Demonstrate scientific and clinical subject matter expertise concerning Acoramidis
- Engage customers in clinically relevant discussions using approved materials
- Analyze sales data to identify business-growth opportunities and territory concerns
- Plan and execute key company initiatives
- Partner compliantly with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams
- Analyze the business, competitive landscape, and territory market to drive business
- Develop, nurture, and maintain professional relationships with targeted KOLs, physicians, medical staff, hospital personnel, and multidisciplinary center staff
- Navigate the hospital formulary process and develop strategies for successful product positioning and availability
- Anticipate business challenges, adjust priorities, and develop solutions
- Maintain proficiency in selling skills, clinical, market, and product knowledge
- Collaborate with peers and company personnel to achieve corporate objectives
- Plan and organize schedules for maximum efficiency
- Represent BridgeBio, its products, and people professionally and with integrity
- Complete tasks and projects assigned by Sales Leadership
- Ensure activities comply with applicable regulations, compliance, and pharmaceutical guidelines
Requirements:
- BS/BA required; MBA preferred but not required
- 8+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- 5+ years of experience in Rare Disease, Cardiology, Specialty, or ATTR
- Product/indication launch experience, with a track record of successfully launching products or indications into highly competitive markets
- Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute on plan
- Proven leadership skills and a high level of accountability
- Ability to influence without authority, internally and externally
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent skills using remote technology to engage with customers
- Adherence to BridgeBio’s high ethical standards
- Significant travel required
