Job Description

Threat Response Analyst leading predictive protective intelligence and behavioral threat response for DoorDash's global delivery platform. Managing escalations, profiling individuals of concern, and briefing executive security decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the response function of DoorDash's Protective Intelligence program
  • Drive the transition from reactive response to predictive prevention using predictive modeling and behavioral analytics
  • Own the early intervention and indicator-identification pathway from first signal through resolution
  • Identify individuals of concern, build behavioral profiles, and identify interception points
  • Manage and train the support staff escalations team
  • Build training, coaching, and quality standards for escalation staff
  • Evaluate complex information, distinguish credible threats from background noise, classify risk, and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Produce succinct briefs supporting executive protection, travel security, and business risk decisions
  • Conduct debriefs with escalation team members and stakeholders
  • Improve early-indicator models, predictive risk scoring, reporting standards, AI-enabled workflows, and case review practices
  • Mentor junior analysts and escalation team members
  • Establish consistent analytical standards, case rigor, and intelligence tradecraft

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in protective intelligence, intelligence analysis, behavioral profiling, or a related field
  • Ability to synthesize complex information, evaluate incomplete or conflicting intelligence, assess credibility, and communicate defensible risk assessments
  • Experience producing executive briefings, strategic intelligence reports, travel assessments, case summaries, and risk assessments
  • Strong OSINT research capabilities
  • Experience using intelligence platforms, commercial databases, social media monitoring, mapping tools, monitoring technologies, or AI-enabled analytical workflows
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Deep understanding of cognitive biases, including confirmation bias, anchoring, and availability bias
  • Experience training a frontline or platform support/escalations team
  • Experience building coaching programs and escalation protocols
  • Hands-on experience in behavioral profiling, identifying early indicators, behavioral interviews, and debriefs
  • Familiarity with insider threat indicators and workplace/platform grievance dynamics
  • Ability to partner with HR, Employee Relations, Trust & Safety, and Legal
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Advanced degree or professional certification in behavioral science, intelligence analysis, security management, or a related discipline preferred
