Job Description
Supports underwriting and marketing operations at Ck Specialty Insurance Associates in a fast-paced environment without requiring prior insurance experience. Entry-level role with comprehensive training provided.
Responsibilities:
- Support underwriting teams by processing and organizing a high volume of submissions and documentation
- Assist with preparing, sending, and following up on submissions with agency and carrier partners
- Actively track opportunities, responses, and next steps to keep deals moving forward
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems
- Communicate professionally with brokers, carriers, and internal teams via email and phone
- Support marketing and relationship-building efforts through proactive outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management
- Help identify gaps, delays, and opportunities to improve response times and conversion rates
Requirements:
- Interest in underwriting, insurance, sales, or relationship-based roles
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organization, time-management, and attention to detail
- Confident communicating with external partners by email and phone
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Willing to learn systems, workflows, and industry processes
- No prior insurance or underwriting experience required
- On-the-job training provided
