Job Description

Underwriting Operations Technician coordinating inspections for underwriting teams. Assisting vendors, quality control, and communication with underwriters and insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting inspection vendors and agents to complete an inspection.
  • Quality control of the inspection processes and decisions based on the underwriting guidelines.
  • Quality control of inspection vendors and their reports.
  • Handling of high complexity inspection team tasks.
  • Communicating to underwriters, inspection vendors, agents, and insurance carriers.
  • Identifying trends, gathering data, defining issues, and implementing solutions.

Requirements:

  • 6 months to a year of Property/Casualty insurance experience preferred.
  • Basic Property/Casualty underwriting comprehension preferred.
  • Technical Skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Note)
