Job Description
Vice President product management role at Akamai, overseeing cloud market strategy and product execution. Leading cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment on business outcomes and product vision.
Responsibilities:
- Owning product vision and multi-year strategy for our infrastructure as a service (Iaas) portfolio.
- Building and leading a high-performing team of product leaders.
- Leading cross-functional execution across product, engineering, and SRE.
- Partnering with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to bring products to launch.
- Leveraging deep market, customer, and industry insights.
- Owning business outcomes across your portfolio, including revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with go-to-market leadership on pricing, packaging, and segment strategy.
Requirements:
- 15 years of product management experience in cloud, compute, or infrastructure domains.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Successful track record of building and scaling product management organizations.
- Experience defining and executing product strategy at a senior level.
- Deep fluency in cloud computing concepts, including compute, virtualization, containerization, storage, networking, and managed services.
- Experience launching and scaling products successfully.
- Align stakeholders through clear communication, collaboration, and influential leadership.
- Lead through influence across engineering, SRE, and operations.
- Navigate across developer and enterprise audiences.
