Job Description
Virtual Physician Assistant delivering evidence-based telehealth primary care for One Medical patients. Treating patients through triage calls, video visits, and email follow-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Treat patients through telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video appointments, and email follow-ups
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
- Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates through daily huddles
- Apply clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care
- Provide virtual clinical care in coordination with patients’ primary care providers
- Deliver evidence-based care through a team-based approach 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Requirements:
- Completion of a master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- Active NCCPA certification
- At least 2 years of Advanced Practitioner experience within the past 5 years in outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages, or in urgent care or emergency medicine seeing patients of all ages
- Currently licensed in DC, MD, VA, or FL, with ability to obtain additional state licenses
- For FL: Autonomous APRN status
- For VA: Autonomous practice
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday
- Ability to work shifts ranging from 6 am–5 pm ET, 11 am–10 pm ET, or 1 pm–12 am ET
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
