Job Description

VP Finance & Treasurer leading treasury, capital planning, and billing automation at FinThrive. Advancing healthcare revenue management through disciplined financial strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company's treasury function, including cash management, liquidity planning, capital allocation, and funding strategies
  • Establish and maintain treasury controls, governance processes, and risk management practices related to cash, investments, debt, and financial transactions
  • Develop and oversee short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting
  • Manage relationships with banks, lenders, investors, insurance providers, and other financial partners
  • Direct borrowing, debt compliance, covenant management, and financing activities while optimizing capital structure and financing costs
  • Lead billing automation strategy, establish and maintain KPIs, and lead the Billing team
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and executive leadership on enterprise planning and strategic initiatives
  • Support the CFO in reviewing financial markets, interest-rate conditions, and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Lead treasury-related reporting and executive or board presentations concerning liquidity, debt management, capital planning, and financial risk exposure
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, lender requirements, regulatory obligations, and applicable accounting standards
  • Oversee procurement strategy and program management, staff, and goal attainment
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance and treasury team through coaching, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Assist with reviewing strategic investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate development opportunities
  • Support the company's healthcare revenue management mission and comply with its values and compliance program

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in finance, treasury, corporate finance, banking, or capital markets
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing finance or treasury teams
  • Strong expertise in treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, corporate banking, debt and credit facilities, capital planning, financial risk management, and working capital optimization
  • Demonstrated experience managing lender and banking relationships
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams and boards of directors
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional initiatives
  • MBA, master's degree in Finance, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • CPA, CFA, CTP, or other finance-related professional certification (preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, revenue cycle management, or a private equity-backed organization (preferred)
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, refinancing transactions, or capital raises (preferred)
  • Knowledge of treasury management systems and enterprise financial technology platforms (preferred)
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide financial transformation initiatives (preferred)
  • Must adhere to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA, FCRA, GLBA, and other applicable laws
  • Must handle patient information in a HIPAA-compliant manner and demonstrate awareness of confidentiality obligations
