Job Description
VP of Product Design shaping creative vision and product experiences for Midnite's sports betting and gaming platform. Leading design teams, systems and cross-functional product strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Own and define Midnite's creative vision and long-term design direction
- Set standards for visual and interaction design across products
- Shape the end-to-end customer experience across native apps, web and internal platforms
- Partner with executive leadership, Product and Engineering to influence strategy and product decisions
- Provide creative direction on ambitious, high-impact initiatives from concept through delivery
- Lead, inspire and develop the Product Design function
- Drive the evolution of design systems and principles
- Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Growth, CRM and Games on a joined-up customer journey
- Champion emerging technologies, including AI, in design and product development
- Shape design practices, talent investment and product experience standards as Midnite scales
Requirements:
- Proven track record of shaping creative vision and product experiences at a senior or executive level
- Outstanding design taste and strong creative instincts
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual and interaction design
- Experience owning design direction across complex, multi-platform products, ideally in fast-moving, consumer-focused technology businesses
- Strong commercial and product judgement
- Track record of influencing product strategy and driving meaningful change through design
- Passion for design craft and ability to challenge, inspire and elevate work
- Experience building and developing high-performing design teams
- Strong creative direction and ability to guide complex design challenges
- Experience shaping design systems, principles and practices at scale
- Confident communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
- Must be based in the UK
- Must have the full right to work in the UK
