Job Description
Enercon wind turbine technician maintaining and troubleshooting turbines across South Wales for Full Circle’s renewable-energy maintenance business. Mentoring technicians and improving turbine performance through operational analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and train other technicians and provide hands-on support on site
- Perform scheduled maintenance and respond to unexpected turbine call-outs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct thorough inspections and replace components when needed
- Maintain service reports and turbine performance records
- Ensure tasks meet safety and industry standards
- Act as the on-site point of contact for customers and provide maintenance updates
- Identify hazards and address them before they become issues
- Ensure wind turbine components meet quality and reliability standards
- Support safe and efficient operation of electrical and mechanical components
- Work with engineering and operational teams to improve turbine performance and efficiency
- Use error and gap analysis, response times, and operational data to optimize operations
- Occasionally work with the control room to remotely monitor turbines worldwide
Requirements:
- 3+ years working with Enercon turbines or similar models
- Must be either a CT or an AT
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Deep understanding of safety regulations and industry standards
- Ability to remain calm under pressure

- Problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail
