Job Description
Remote adjunct instructor facilitating medical coding internship course at AAPC, guiding students in analyzing real-world medical records. Requires AAPC instructor credentials and teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate online curriculum through Black Board platform and Practicode by AAPC
- Monitor and measure student participation, attendance, and completion of cases
- Record attendance
- Respond to student queries and provide relevant and timely feedback
- Adhere to all program faculty policies and procedures
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to process improvement efforts
Requirements:
- AAPC Instructor credential and the CPC or COC credential
- Minimum of 3 years healthcare business experience
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (online experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, technology, communication, and time-management skills
- Past experience with Practicode is preferred.
