Job Description
Technician responsible for nursing administration support at Tulattavik Health Center. Assisting with operations, file maintenance, and student internship organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operation of the DSI-DSH office: handling mail, drafting letters and emails, and ordering supplies.
- Maintains the professional personnel files for nursing staff.
- Assists DSI-DSH middle managers with their administrative duties.
- Collaborates in organizing placements for nursing students.
- Provides administrative support for coordinating nursing staff transportation.
Requirements:
- Must hold a Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) in General Administration, Office Technology, or another appropriate college-level discipline.
- If no candidates with a DEC apply, a candidate with Secondary V (Grade 11) or a college-level attestation in a related field (minimum 800 hours) may be considered.
- Two years of experience within the health network in a similar role.
- Excellent command of French and English; Inuktitut would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of the Quebec health system (RAMQ, MSSS, SANA).
- Ability to learn new information quickly.
- High level of autonomy, initiative, organizational skills, and sense of responsibility.
