Job Description
Managing a team of Credit Analysts responsible for credit quality analysis at U.S. Bank. Supporting agricultural business in analyzing loan portfolios to minimize risk and enhance credit quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manages a staff of professional Credit Analysts who are responsible for determining necessary information for performing a credit quality analysis
- Gathering, analyzing and interpreting information
- Analyzing either an existing loan portfolio or a prospective loan to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential losses
- Acts as a consultant in credit quality analysis
- Develops and communicates a consistent way of evaluating credit quality within the organization
- Manages the design, development and implementation of computer systems used for managing credit information and analyzing credit data
- Direct support for agricultural business line
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight to 10 years of relevant experience
- Thorough knowledge of agricultural credit, accounting, credit policy and financial statement analysis
- Proficient analytical skills related to reviewing various forms of asset collateral documentation
- Well-developed ability to analyze credit decisions, including consumer, commercial, real estate and international finance
- Strong management, organizational and leadership skills
- Effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Two to four years of leadership experience
