Job Description
Director leading customer-facing engineering teams deploying Innovaccer’s AI healthcare platform. Overseeing clinical data ingestion, enterprise integrations, and safe AI-agent delivery for healthcare customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead an elite organization of multiple cross-functional engineering teams dedicated to tier-one healthcare customers
- Own technical delivery, enterprise configuration, and operational success of an AI-driven platform within complex healthcare ecosystems
- Mentor engineering managers and technical leads across a global footprint
- Architect robust data ingestion pipelines
- Configure complex enterprise software
- Deploy production-grade, compliant AI agents into live healthcare environments
- Hire, mentor, and scale multiple customer-facing engineering teams across regions
- Optimize global resource allocation across health systems, payers, and life sciences clients
- Empower teams to own, track, and execute implementation delivery plans from discovery through live production
- Align engineering execution with business and clinical metrics to drive customer retention and high NPS/CSAT
- Establish organizational standards for data integrity, product quality, architectural reviews, and customer sign-off criteria
- Guide teams building high-throughput pipelines for structured and unstructured healthcare datasets, including EHR notes, lab results, imaging metadata, and claims
- Standardize frameworks to validate, sanitize, deduplicate, and normalize healthcare data for AI/ML consumption
- Implement automated data-quality testing and schema enforcement protocols
- Oversee platform configuration for specific clinical workflows and healthcare operational taxonomies
- Lead native platform deployments integrating with production EHR systems and provider workflows
- Design scalable pre-sales and post-sales technical solution architectures
- Oversee forward-deployed development, local integration, optimization, and fine-tuning of autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents
- Enforce deployment-level guardrails and real-time monitoring to ensure safe AI outputs
Requirements:
- 12+ years in software engineering, technical consulting, or enterprise systems architecture
- 5+ years within US Healthcare, HealthTech, or Digital Health sectors, working directly with clinical data ecosystems
- 5+ years managing a manager-of-managers organization or multiple concurrent, customer-facing technical delivery teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience building, optimizing, and deploying enterprise-grade AI Agents
- Proficiency in designing and managing batch and real-time big data processing systems
- Proficiency in pipeline orchestration
- Proficiency in Medallion Architecture
- Proficiency in end-to-end ETL/ELT pipeline engineering
- Operational knowledge of HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, and X12/EDI
- Experience with clinical data ecosystems
- Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks
