Job Description
Analyst overseeing master use licensing revenue processes for Warner Music Group. Researching and analyzing revenues for compliance and supporting audit teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ‘other’ master use licensing revenue process for WMG
- Research unidentified accountings using internal resources and contacting third-party licensees
- Prepare monthly licensing entries to account for all domestic revenues
- Research, resolve, and process aged, unallocated cash related to licensing
- Support royalty audit teams by compiling necessary documentation
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry
- Familiarity with recorded music licensing and/or artist royalties
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SAP financial applications (preferred)
- Understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
