Job Description
Antivirals Field Medical Director responsible for executing Medical strategies and engaging stakeholders. Providing expertise and education on Pfizer medicines and improving patient care strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic area/product expertise for the designated therapeutic area across a broad range of external medical stakeholders
- Plan and execute independent Medical strategy and engagement
- Maintain required level of knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines
- Serve as a conduit and resource for Medical Information and external medical stakeholder insights
- Collaborate with Pfizer colleagues to achieve Medical objectives
- Educate external medical stakeholders based on patient care gaps
Requirements:
- MD or DO Degree required
- 4+ years of relevant experience required
- Experience in Hospital therapies, outcomes, and/or epidemiology a plus
- Subject matter expert in vaccines and/or antivirals recognized across internal and external stakeholders
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Must manage significant volume of projects in a remote environment
- Ability to work within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team
