Job Description
Senior Medical Director developing strategic and operational Global Medical Affairs programs for Novartis. Focusing on innovative evidence, medical affairs planning and execution for CV launches and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements strategic and operational TAs Global Medical Affairs programs
- Builds positive, effective partnerships with Medical and Commercial as well as US and Global colleagues
- Drives a robust data generation program to support current indication
- Co-develops strategically aligned study programs with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR) colleagues
- Leads Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) program
- Collaborates with global team on lifecycle management studies on strategy for USA
- Drives advisory boards and works closely with Field Medical on insight-gathering initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelors or equivalent 4-Year University Degree required
- Doctorate level degree (MD, PharmD, DO, or PhD in Health Sciences or related field) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)/ Physician’s Assistant (PA) degree with significant relevant clinical experience required
- Strong Medical Affairs background
- Launch experience in CV
