Job Description
Application and service management for a Swiss recruiting agency client. Ensuring stable operations, release coordination, incident resolution, documentation, and data maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the stable operation and monitoring of applications
- Coordinate and monitor activities to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, and resource utilization
- Analyze and resolve application incidents and develop workarounds
- Support and advise users on application usage and process execution
- Inform application users about incidents, application notifications, and planned outages
- Coordinate between business departments, application owners, support teams, and developers
- Support the specification, testing, and rollout of application releases
- Plan and coordinate releases, including the preparation of installation plans
- Capture technical requirements and develop solution concepts for the further development of applications
- Coordinate release agreements and oversee implementation with relevant stakeholders
- Maintain and further develop interfaces between applications
- Create and support change requests for application developers
- Create, update, and maintain operating procedures, user manuals, and technical documentation
- Prepare customer-specific reports and statistics
- Perform data cleansing and data maintenance
Requirements:
- Completed education or training in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in Application Management, Service Management, or Application Operations
- Solid experience operating and supporting business applications
- Very good knowledge of Release and Deployment Management, as well as the planning and coordination of application releases
- Confident in analyzing, troubleshooting, and sustainably resolving application incidents
- Good knowledge of interface management and collaboration with various IT and business departments
- Experience creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, operating procedures, and user manuals
- Experience with data maintenance and the preparation of customer-specific reports and statistics
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong customer and service orientation, along with teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility
- Analytical thinking and a high level of initiative
- Fluent in German and good command of English
