Job Description
Area Business Manager responsible for oncology portfolio sales in California for Sanofi. Developing business strategies and maintaining customer relationships in the healthcare field.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for achieving annual sales objectives for a defined territory
- Development and implementation of effective territory planning
- Leveraging Sanofi Genzyme resources effectively
- Create and expand product understanding and appropriate patient identification
- Effective communication and positioning of product information to customers
- Work closely with all field partners to ensure strategy pull through
- Complete call reporting, business plan updates and expense reports
- Attend training sessions and conventions as required
- Maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited school required
- Minimum two years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Sales Oncology/Hematology experience preferred
- BA focus in business or life science preferred
- Ability to think, plan, and act strategically
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Up to 2 years successful experience in the sale of chemotherapeutic agents or bio-tech products preferred
- Working knowledge of and familiarity with the hospital and cancer center environment preferred.
