Job Description

Area Business Manager responsible for oncology portfolio sales in California for Sanofi. Developing business strategies and maintaining customer relationships in the healthcare field.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving annual sales objectives for a defined territory
  • Development and implementation of effective territory planning
  • Leveraging Sanofi Genzyme resources effectively
  • Create and expand product understanding and appropriate patient identification
  • Effective communication and positioning of product information to customers
  • Work closely with all field partners to ensure strategy pull through
  • Complete call reporting, business plan updates and expense reports
  • Attend training sessions and conventions as required
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited school required
  • Minimum two years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Sales Oncology/Hematology experience preferred
  • BA focus in business or life science preferred
  • Ability to think, plan, and act strategically
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Up to 2 years successful experience in the sale of chemotherapeutic agents or bio-tech products preferred
  • Working knowledge of and familiarity with the hospital and cancer center environment preferred.
