Job Description
Senior nurse providing leadership in quality assurance and patient safety at Marie Curie. Ensuring safe, effective care while driving continuous improvements across all services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in quality assurance, patient safety and learning for continuous improvement across all services to ensure care is delivered safely, effectively, compassionately, and with strong leadership.
- Set standards and lead the workstreams for patient safety, clinical governance, infection prevention & control (IPC), and Health & Safety (H&S), driving measurable improvements for patients, carers, and staff.
Requirements:
- Experience at senior nurse level working within a healthcare environment and expert knowledge of relationship-based leadership and strategic influencing skills.
- Up-to-date understanding of end-of-life care and regulatory frameworks across the UK.
- NMC Registered Nurse (Level 1) and relevant Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record in assurance, governance, and Patient safety (particularly the patient safety incident response framework (PSIRF) and using learning to drive continuous improvements.
- Experience of clinical governance at a senior level.
