Job Description
HHA Compliance Coordinator ensuring caregivers meet compliance standards in a remote setting. Focused on managing compliance processes and caregiver documentation in home care.
Responsibilities:
- Review and ensure all HHA files meet compliance and regulatory requirements
- Verify medical documentation, including physicals, PPD/Quantiferon, immunizations, and other required clearances
- Maintain and update caregiver records in HHA Exchange accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor compliance expirations and proactively follow up with caregivers for renewals
- Communicate with caregivers to collect missing documentation and ensure timely completion
- Coordinate with recruitment and onboarding teams to ensure caregivers are cleared to start cases
- Assist with audits and ensure readiness for DOH and internal compliance reviews
- Track and report compliance status, expirations, and deficiencies
- Ensure all documentation is properly uploaded and maintained in the system
Requirements:
- Prior experience in home care compliance required
- Strong working knowledge of HHA Exchange
- Knowledge of HHA medical requirements and onboarding documentation
- Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Self-starter with a proactive and motivated work ethic
