Job Description
Bookkeeper responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for clients at VirtueStaff. Managing transactions, financial statements, and client communications remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and monthly reports
- Reconcile bank statements and track financial discrepancies
- Utilize accounting software for efficient data management and reporting
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities
- Coordinate with clients to resolve financial issues and inquiries
- Ensure all financial records are organized and compliant with regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications (such as CPA or similar) are a plus but not required
