Job Description
Oracle Order Management Business Analyst optimizing AFL’s fiber-optic manufacturing Order-to-Cash systems. Enhancing Oracle EBS, EDI, and Kinaxis processes across global operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a functional analyst for Oracle Order Management and Order-to-Cash processes
- Analyze, document, and implement enhancements for end-to-end Order-to-Cash business processes
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify process optimization opportunities
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
- Partner with technical teams to deliver scalable and sustainable Oracle solutions
- Drive standardization and adoption of best practices across global business operations
- Support and enhance Oracle EBS Order Management, Shipping Execution, Inventory, Pricing, Advanced Pricing, Accounts Receivable, and related modules
- Configure and maintain Order Management setups, including order types, holds, workflow, pricing rules and modifiers, shipping parameters, customer hierarchies, and credit management
- Troubleshoot complex production issues impacting order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Evaluate Oracle functionality and recommend improvements
- Coordinate initiatives across the complete Order-to-Cash lifecycle, including customer master data, customer pricing, quote-to-order, order management, ATP/CTP, fulfillment, shipping, invoicing, accounts receivable, integrations, returns and RMAs, and cash application
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial reconciliation
- Support EDI transactions and trading partner integrations
- Troubleshoot EDI transactions including 850, 860, 830, 862, 855, 856, 810, and other customer-specific transactions
- Partner with integration teams on APIs, XML, middleware, and external application connectivity
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning teams on Kinaxis planning capabilities, data integrity, integration requirements, and process improvements
- Lead or participate in ERP projects, enhancements, upgrades, and business transformation initiatives
- Develop test strategies and execute unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing
- Coordinate deployment activities and end-user training
- Maintain documentation for support and compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of Oracle EBS Business Analyst experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Order Management experience
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash business processes
- Experience supporting high-volume order management and customer fulfillment operations
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Order Management (OM), Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Inventory, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Master Data
- Experience creating functional specifications and managing business requirements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Experience with EDI transaction processing and integration platforms
- Experience supporting Oracle XML Gateway, SOA, APIs integrations
- Experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or Kinaxis Maestro
- Understanding of supply chain planning, demand planning, and fulfillment processes
- Experience supporting global ERP environments
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or other project management platforms
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion applications
- Experience in AI, CoPilot, ChatGPT and/or Claude
- Experience with automation tools such as UiPath
