Job Description
Business Development Manager responsible for strategic growth in Healthcare for Silgan Dispensing Systems. Identify opportunities and build customer relationships throughout Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth throughout the assigned territory
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations
- Identify and qualify new opportunities while managing an active sales pipeline
- Partner with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Innovation teams
- Serve as the voice of the customer by communicating market trends and customer needs
- Develop account plans, forecasts, and territory growth strategies
- Negotiate commercial agreements that strengthen customer partnerships while protecting profitability
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities and customer engagement
- Represent Silgan Dispensing Systems at customer meetings and industry events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- 10+ years of business development, key account management, or direct sales experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, packaging, or related industries
- Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals
- Experience working remotely from a home office
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
