Job Description

Business Development Manager responsible for strategic growth in Healthcare for Silgan Dispensing Systems. Identify opportunities and build customer relationships throughout Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth throughout the assigned territory
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities while managing an active sales pipeline
  • Partner with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Innovation teams
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by communicating market trends and customer needs
  • Develop account plans, forecasts, and territory growth strategies
  • Negotiate commercial agreements that strengthen customer partnerships while protecting profitability
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities and customer engagement
  • Represent Silgan Dispensing Systems at customer meetings and industry events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • 10+ years of business development, key account management, or direct sales experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, packaging, or related industries
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Proven ability to exceed sales goals
  • Experience working remotely from a home office
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
