Job Description
Business Technical Analyst undergraduate intern developing Power BI dashboards and reports for Centene’s managed care operations. Supporting performance analysis, documentation, and business projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Prepare quality campaign and vendor performance reports
- Analyze data related to performance metrics and quality gap closures
- Document Power BI data flows, processes, and reporting procedures
- Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting needs
- Learn about processes and functions within the Managed Care industry through projects supporting the business
- Learn job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore career opportunities
- Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills through various projects
- Research legal, regulatory, and other topics within the functional area and industry
- Attend training and development presentations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements:
- Experience or coursework with Power BI, SQL, Python, and basic programming
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and macros
- Analytical mindset with an interest in data visualization and business reporting
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college through the internship period, preferably in a field related to the hiring department
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT
