Job Description
Bilingual LCSW providing remote Spanish-language telehealth counseling through Thriveworks. Delivering virtual clinical care, documentation, escalation support, and participant advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide telehealth sessions in California
- Deliver 30–37 hours of direct counseling care per week, subject to customer contract productivity standards
- Complete collaborative note-taking during sessions
- Create treatment plans and other required documentation
- Participate in treatment team meetings with the customer, as applicable
- Attend weekly Synchronous Health team meetings
- Advocate for participants in decisions regarding their clinical needs
- Liaise with Customer Success to meet customer needs
- Apply successful models, techniques, and evidence to support participants
- Support communication, outreach, and marketing materials and activities, including conference presentations, networking events, and professional organizations
- Serve as the first escalation contact for dissatisfied participants
- Report unresolved participant concerns to the Operations Manager as the second escalation point
- Keep abreast of developments in clinical care, including analog and digital techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Fully proficient in Spanish and eager to work with Spanish-speaking patients
- Licensed LCSW; license must be able to practice without supervision
- Experience working with children is preferred, not required, highly desirable
- Informed on state tele-health policies
- Comfortable with technology and conducting sessions via tele-health
- Capability to build a therapeutic relationship in a virtual platform
- Polished, professional virtual presence
- Strong ability to identify markers for the appropriate level of care to meet patient needs
- Experience treating a variety of conditions and disorders as part of a comprehensive treatment plan with an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to use technologies for administrative and clinical support, including scheduling, notes, chat, and web/app-based interventions
- Ability to work remotely in a secure, private location; coffee shops are not acceptable
- Access to a smartphone, laptop, and internet connection
- Must pass a background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
- Position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
