Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician supporting rare-disease prescriptions for Accredo Specialty Pharmacy. Performing prescription data entry, quality assurance, and patient and provider outreach remotely in Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform call queue, data entry, or other pharmacy queue work typical of a registered pharmacy technician
  • Translate prescriptions from prescribers and enter information in patient profiles in accordance with state regulations
  • Work with pharmacists according to work instructions, policies, procedures, management direction, and national or state regulations
  • Ensure quality assurance
  • Report adverse events
  • Assist with prescriber and patient outreach

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician work experience required
  • Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license and national certification (PTCB or NHA) required
  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Basic math and computer skills, including Windows navigation, Microsoft applications, internet, and email
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn internal systems, processes, and programs as needed
  • Must reside in Tennessee
  • Cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for work-at-home employment
