Job Description
Claims Technician reviewing and approving medium-complexity property and casualty claims for Desjardins. Supporting advisors, enforcing contracts, and resolving technically complex settlement issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for contract enforcement
- Help claims advisors develop their technical skills
- Analyze and approve claims settlements
- Conduct research and serve as resource person, proposing solutions to conflicts and situations outside the claims advisor’s scope of authority
- Revise independent adjuster claims
- Review claims and establish guidelines for the claims settlement process
- Provide discipline-specific support for the settlement of medium-complexity claims and the development of technical skills
- Solve technically complex problems and prepare action plans based on claim reviews
Requirements:
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
