Job Description
Class A CDL Tour Operator operating a custom mobile museum in Virginia. Transporting and setting up the mobile exhibit while following safety guidelines and providing excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely driving a Class A Vehicle
- Setting the stage for an awesome museum experience by preparing this mobile exhibit (set up, cleaning, and tear down)
- Staying on-site for technical support
- Always following safety guidelines
- Having fun in the process
- Travel across the state of VA, with varying schedules from week to week
- Execute the day's event, and pack up for the next day's event in partnership with another tour operator
- Ensure the event trailer and all exhibits are clean, safe, and show-ready
Requirements:
- Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT Medical Certificate is required
- 2 Years of Class A driving experience with 53ft trailers, preferred
- Experience with moving and setting up custom-expandable event trailers, strongly preferred
- Strong client service skills
- Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and technology problems with SPEVCO’s expert support
- Ability to self-manage and work independently and as part of a team for long periods of time
- Computer skills – Ability to use a tablet computer (Android-based), email, MS Suite, various Web-Based applications, ELDs, etc
- Willingness to maintain a "show-ready" clean and safe vehicle and exhibit
