Job Description
Account Placement Specialist matching vetted contractors with Wing Assistant clients. Running discovery calls, candidate sourcing, live demos, and rapid deal closure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end client engagement process
- Understand customer intake forms and use organization-wide ATS systems to find candidates matching the required skill set
- Interview candidates to assess fit for client needs
- Run discovery calls, qualify client needs, present Wing's value, and bring live vetted candidates into calls
- Close deals, propose next steps, and formalize deals in Discord/JRF within 30–60 minutes
- Maintain an up-to-date, taggable candidate bench by role, industry, and availability
- Produce 2–3 credible candidate matches from a loose brief with 10–30 minutes' notice
- Confirm candidate availability at T-24h and T-30min and identify backups before calls
- Finalize compliance and formal matching after deal closure
- Keep CSM/TA aligned on onboarding status in real time
- Coordinate internal workflows through Discord
Requirements:
- Has personally run outbound/discovery through to close — not just handed off qualified leads
- Recruiting or sourcing experience with genuine same-day turnaround, not multiday pipelines
- Comfortable improvising live — can steer a call and brief a candidate in 10–15 minutes on the spot
- Fast and responsive by nature — minutes, not hours, is this role's working speed
- Staffing, recruiting, or B2B services sales background
- Already comfortable working async-first in Discord/Slack as the source of truth
- History of maintaining a “warm bench” of backup candidates proactively
- Track record of anticipating problems (candidate no-shows, client cold feet) before they happen
