Job Description

Developer supporting medium-complexity data visualization activities across clinical programs for a leading global provider of research services.

Responsibilities:

  • Support medium‑complexity data visualization mapping and set‑up activities across clinical programs
  • Collaborate with business users to define requirements
  • Profile and map clinical and operational data
  • Design and test visualization models
  • Ensure governance and compliance
  • Provide clear explanations of visual outputs and associated limitations
  • Contribute to information lifecycle management within visualization solutions
  • Support compliant access to clinical data
  • Collaborate with Privacy, Risk, Assurance, Information Security and other regulatory functions
  • Develop deeper expertise in clinical data standards, visualization techniques, metadata models, and tools
  • Build domain knowledge within at least one therapeutic area and maintain a good understanding of roles and processes across drug development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analysis, Big Data, Quantitative Methods, Bioinformatics, Data Analytics, OR a life‑science field (e.g., Biotechnology, Molecular Biology)
  • Proven data‑analysis experience (e.g., GitHub projects, Kaggle work, publications)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective organization, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability
  • Ability to leverage data to address business challenges and provide meaningful insights to medical reviewers
  • Methodical working style with a focus on high‑quality output
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Programming experience in R or Python for data processing, analysis, and presentation
  • Good proficiency in at least two core areas: R, Python, Power BI (or equivalent)
  • SQL familiarity is a strong advantage
  • General understanding or interest in clinical trials and the drug development process (optional)
  • Basic knowledge of SAS (optional)
  • Exposure to project coordination or basic project management tasks (optional)
