Job Description
Developer supporting medium-complexity data visualization activities across clinical programs for a leading global provider of research services.
Responsibilities:
- Support medium‑complexity data visualization mapping and set‑up activities across clinical programs
- Collaborate with business users to define requirements
- Profile and map clinical and operational data
- Design and test visualization models
- Ensure governance and compliance
- Provide clear explanations of visual outputs and associated limitations
- Contribute to information lifecycle management within visualization solutions
- Support compliant access to clinical data
- Collaborate with Privacy, Risk, Assurance, Information Security and other regulatory functions
- Develop deeper expertise in clinical data standards, visualization techniques, metadata models, and tools
- Build domain knowledge within at least one therapeutic area and maintain a good understanding of roles and processes across drug development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analysis, Big Data, Quantitative Methods, Bioinformatics, Data Analytics, OR a life‑science field (e.g., Biotechnology, Molecular Biology)
- Proven data‑analysis experience (e.g., GitHub projects, Kaggle work, publications)
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective organization, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability
- Ability to leverage data to address business challenges and provide meaningful insights to medical reviewers
- Methodical working style with a focus on high‑quality output
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Programming experience in R or Python for data processing, analysis, and presentation
- Good proficiency in at least two core areas: R, Python, Power BI (or equivalent)
- SQL familiarity is a strong advantage
- General understanding or interest in clinical trials and the drug development process (optional)
- Basic knowledge of SAS (optional)
- Exposure to project coordination or basic project management tasks (optional)
