Job Description

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer delivering Azure cloud infrastructure and managed services for Atmosera clients. Leading migrations, automation, troubleshooting, and service-transition deployments across LATAM.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced infrastructure engineering, design, development, configuration, installation, administration, maintenance, and upgrades of cloud infrastructure components
  • Design and build automated solutions for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructures
  • Use continuous improvement techniques and data-driven analysis to improve delivery timeframes and quality
  • Troubleshoot and advise on advanced infrastructure problems for client escalations and internal operations
  • Contribute to development and productization of custom value-added cloud services
  • Collaborate with customers to develop operational runbooks and define alerting telemetry
  • Act as a trusted adviser to internal and external clients
  • Lead service transition build teams implementing greenfield cloud environments, management tooling for brownfield environments, and infrastructure migrations to cloud platforms
  • Assist in developing and training others
  • Monitor developments and trends in Microsoft and Azure ecosystems and recommend additions to management
  • Maintain current configuration documentation for client cloud configurations and deployments
  • Interface with customers technically and lead infrastructure project deployments for client environments using a consultative problem-solving approach

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in a technical or service organization performing hands-on cloud work
  • BS degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • Previous professional services or external client-facing experience
  • Advanced knowledge of hyperscaler cloud technologies, specifically Azure
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Advanced understanding of Azure networking, NSGs, WAFs, VPN gateways, etc.
  • Track record of practical problem solving, excellent communication, and documentation skills
  • Experience with scripting and automation, including PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Experience migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud infrastructures
  • Familiarity with Azure storage and networking constructs
  • Familiarity with Azure and Windows HA setups, administration, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with SQL Always-On deployment and configuration
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL PaaS and WebApp services
  • Ability to work within and lead in a team-driven environment
  • Ability to work within an agile or ITIL framework, change management, and regulated environments
  • Understanding of IT and Microsoft Azure security best practices
  • Ability to understand, map controls, and implement InfoSec and compliance frameworks
  • Required Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Required Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Required Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/AZ-801)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) required within the first 90 days
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload under deadlines, and provide high standards of customer service
