Job Description

Cloud Operations Manager managing operations for Global Cloud Services at Aras. Overseeing cloud technology service delivery, support, and development with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary interface between GCS cloud engineers and the broader Aras organization, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution; support strategic Aras initiatives and execution to the shared roadmap.
  • Help mature the Aras GCS support model for cloud service domains such as backups, observability, performance, scalability, security, and supportability.
  • Provide oversight and coordination across the globally-distributed cloud teams that respond to customer requests, monitor technical infrastructure, and develop or adapt the supporting automation or SOPs.
  • Leverage experience with Azure/AWS/GCP to help guide architectural decisions and deployment strategies.
  • Work with Aras customer management to represent Aras cloud services, as required, on complex SaaS or escalated support topics. This may include an occasional customer-facing engagement.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud operations management or technical service delivery, in support of SaaS using one or more major cloud provider (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • 10+ years of experience working with large, enterprise software implementations (distributed systems) in the context of a vendor or service provider that is managed and measured by strict SLAs.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud scaling patterns and models for multi-tenancy, and related technical support.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes) and DevOps practices (automation).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional and customer-facing contexts.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Benefits:

  • Flexible paid time off to recharge when you need it, plus company-paid holidays and a dedicated Global Wellness Day.
  • A 401(k) plan with company match to help you invest in your future.
  • Robust health coverage, including generous medical, dental, and vision insurance with high premium contributions and deductible reimbursement.
  • Company-paid life insurance, as well as short- and long-term disability coverage for added peace of mind.
