Job Description

Technical co-founder designing open-source AI and data infrastructure for ESG, governance, and process intelligence. Building architecture, integrations, and LLM-powered applications within Estonia’s startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-design and build the overall technical architecture covering the core system, integrations, and application layer
  • Develop and integrate AI components including LLMs, semantic search, and analytics
  • Design and implement a modular, container-based platform using Docker and an API-first approach
  • Connect existing systems such as ERP systems and data sources via adapter logic
  • Contribute to product strategy and the technical roadmap
  • Select and establish a sustainable open-source technology stack
  • Support the development of a strong network within the Estonian startup ecosystem, including tech community, partners, and programs
  • Collaborate with funding bodies, programs, and relevant stakeholders in Estonia

Requirements:

  • Experience in software development (ideally Python / backend / APIs)
  • Knowledge of AI / machine learning / LLM integration
  • Experience with container technologies and system architecture
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data models, and distributed systems
  • Interest in open-source ecosystems and privacy-focused solutions
  • Ability to structure and implement technical concepts independently
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in a co-founder role
  • Strong networking mindset – ideally with exposure to startup ecosystems (experience in Estonia is a plus)
  • Short message containing technical background, project experience, and motivation

Benefits:

  • Co-founder equity with long-term perspective
  • Opportunity to build a proprietary product with a clear IP strategy
  • Work on foundational infrastructure (not just feature development)
  • High degree of freedom in technology, architecture, and product decisions
  • Access to structured funding programs (Estonia / EU)
  • Direct access to the Estonian startup ecosystem and opportunity to build a strong network
  • Opportunity to shape key partnerships and structures from an early stage
  • Focus on sustainable, privacy-centric, and future-proof systems
