Job Description
Overseeing professional coding operations and ensuring compliance for Dayton Children’s. Leading a team of coders to maintain workflow and optimize revenue cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all professional coding operations within Dayton Children’s
- Ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Maintain effective day-to-day workflow operations
- Lead a team of professional medical coders
Requirements:
- Associate degree required
- CPC, RHIT, AHIMA or RHIA certification required
- Three+ years of experience in professional coding required
- At least one year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of healthcare coding regulations and compliance requirements
