Job Description
Communications Director leading Vivazen’s communications and public affairs strategy. Overseeing media engagement and executing cross-channel campaigns while ensuring brand credibility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead comprehensive communications strategies that align with organizational goals
- Oversee execution of proactive and reactive media engagement
- Serve as a primary author on high-visibility communications assets
- Manage crisis communications readiness and response
- Shape and steward the company’s narrative across channels
- Direct and collaborate with external agencies and vendors
- Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate communications impact
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and functional leaders
Requirements:
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in communications or public affairs
- Experience in CPG, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries
- Proven track record of developing and executing integrated communications strategies
- Director-level experience with full ownership of communications initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise in media relations and narrative development
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with legal, commercial, public affairs, and government affairs teams
- Hands-on proficiency with communications and media monitoring tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
