Job Description
Community Engagement Manager at Lime, developing strategies and partnerships in Vancouver's Lower Mainland communities. Lead efforts in public engagement and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies.
- Organize and facilitate open houses, roundtables, and community events to gather feedback, foster dialogue and educate our riders.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for public and community inquiries and concerns. Liaise with municipal partners.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders regarding project developments and impacts, and maintain a stakeholder database to track interactions and feedback.
- Collaborate with the Lime Communications and Marketing teams to develop clear and effective communication materials, represent Lime at public events and ensure all communications are culturally sensitive and inclusive.
- Work closely with Lime’s operations team to integrate community feedback, develop and manage community participation programs, monitor engagement effectiveness, and prepare reports for Lime management teams and municipal partners.
Requirements:
- At least two (2) years related experience leading or working in community engagement, government affairs, public policy, campaigns, and/or communications, ideally within the City of Vancouver.
- A minimum of one (1) year working directly with any level of government.
- A multi-tasker comfortable working on multiple priorities at once while executing projects in a demanding environment.
- Availability to travel around the City of Vancouver and other Metro Vancouver Markets
- Available for regular events on evenings and weekends.
- Previous professional experience in transportation and mobility would be beneficial.
